Editorial

Welcome to the landmark tenth volume of the International Journal of Advanced Research (IJAR). The release of Volume 10, Issue 1 (January–June 2026) represents a pivotal moment in our publication's journey. After years of bringing you high-quality, peer-reviewed research on a quarterly basis, we are transitioning to a biannual publication schedule. This strategic shift allows our editorial board to dedicate even greater attention to the rigorous review and curation of impactful scholarship. Simultaneously, we are immensely proud to announce the launch of our digital online edition www.ijar.co.in, a step that will exponentially increase the global accessibility and visibility of the groundbreaking work produced by our contributors.

This inaugural biannual issue features a highly diverse and intellectually rich collection of twenty-one research papers, bridging the gaps between the hard sciences, humanities, environmental studies, and socio-economic analysis. The breadth of topics reflects the complexities of our modern globalized society and the localized challenges faced by communities worldwide.

Advancements in Science, Ecology, and Public Health

Scientific innovation and environmental resilience form a core thematic pillar of this issue. We open with an inspiring exploration of how Nanopore technology can enhance practical biology education in marginalized communities. This is complemented by material science research into the ageing properties of HDPE-Starch biocomposites. On the ecological front, critical attention is brought to the Indian subcontinent, specifically Kerala, with studies analyzing the emergence of recurrent red tide events along the southwest coast and the eco-physiological potential of indigenous trees for carbon sequestration. Furthermore, the intersection of climate change and gender is thoughtfully addressed by examining the dual vulnerability and mitigation roles of women. Public health is also represented through a systematic review of Indian research in Rheumatoid Arthritis nutrition.

Societal Dynamics, Economics, and Education

Our authors provide incisive analyses of contemporary social structures and educational paradigms. A significant focus is placed on the evolving educational landscape, from the structural equation modeling of household investment elasticity in Kerala's student migration corridor to the intersection of digital specialization and gendered academic persistence in technical education. In an era increasingly defined by Artificial Intelligence, the integration of Jais LLM in Arabic curriculum development offers a timely perspective on educational assessment. Economic realities are confronted directly through empirical evidence on gender discrimination in private sector employment, the socioeconomic dilemmas of Gulf expatriates dealing with reverse migration policies, and the vital role of women leading the natural rubber sector toward a sustainable future.

Humanities, History, and Literary Explorations

The humanities section of this issue offers profound reflections on literature, history, and ethics. Comparative studies shine a light on leadership paradigms, contrasting the ethical approaches of Mahatma Gandhi and Mother Teresa. Literary analyses delve into the structural and aesthetic consciousness of the Urdu Ghazal, the posthuman and gendered explorations in the acclaimed novel Tomb of Sand, and the historical development of Arabic poetry in Kerala. We are also guided through rich historical narratives, including the life of Java Ahmed Haji, the ancient commodity transactions between Calicut and China during the Ming dynasty, and the complex politics of memory embedded within national textbook constructions.

In a rapidly changing digital era, we must also examine the human psychological condition. Papers addressing the linguistic and relational impacts of "newgen" vocabulary, alongside comparative studies on toxic positivity among college students in India and Qatar, provide necessary commentary on the contemporary psychosocial environment.

As we embark on this new biannual and digital chapter, we extend our deepest gratitude to our esteemed authors for their rigorous intellectual contributions, and to our dedicated peer reviewers for their critical insights. We trust that this issue of IJAR will spark robust academic discourse, inspire future research, and serve as a valuable resource for scholars, policymakers, and practitioners alike.
